By now I think I have demonstrated my love of lighting. This pimp piece is by UK company Endesigns and would look great in the living room. Nice dark leather couch, big TV, and the soft glow of gold radiating from the corner.

It would be amazing to have one of these visually stunning cabinets made to house all the random items I’ve picked up while traveling, or even have a very precise bookcase made.
I love this chair. A rocking chair built for one or two in sleek lines and angles and a perfect color palate. I would love to share this seat in my future home with my future design savvy partner.

This is an impressive sight to walk in to upon arrival to a hotel. I like the scale of the light, and the umbrella like gradations in tube length. I think the check-in desk is the perfect complement to the lighting. If I am ever lucky enough to travel to Singapore, I will want to stay at this hotel

Here is a fun fact about Valdez. One of the most popular ways of getting there is taking a 2 hour ferry from Whittier, AK. The thing is, Whittier can only be reached by traveling under a mountain in a tunnel that is 2.5 miles long.

A Taiwanese research team is working on infusing trees with gold nanoparticles so that they gently glow, thus lessening/alleviating the need for street lights. I’m not sure how I feel about technologically messing with trees, but glowing trees seems like a fun thing to replace street lights.
